In the simplest terms, the Law of Attraction states that whatever you think about, you will bring about. Sometimes we use the Law of Attraction inadvertently, but it is most powerful when we focus our thoughts towards and intentional result.
If you're new to the Law of Attraction, I recommend that you start utilizing it in simple ways. My go-to recommendation is when you're looking for a parking spot. As you near your destination, begin focusing your thoughts on the parking spot you want. Visualize how close it is to the entrance. Keep your energy positive. Believe that this spot is there (which it is) and that it is available to you. The most difficult part, and the key to it all, is that you believe you can have it. If you don't believe that it's there for you, it won't be.
You can't trick the Law of Attraction.
Even as you pull up to this spot, keep your energy positive and be believing because someone could just now be leaving that spot... This works. And it works with way more than parking spots.
This is why positive thinking is all the rage in the self help world. Whatever you focus on, for your benefit or detriment, becomes inevitable. As you release your thoughts into the world, you align yourself with where your thoughts are leading you and you're put in the path to make those thoughts a reality.
Here's another way to think about it, as you are consistent in telling your brain what result you are looking for, your brain will find ways to solve the problems between your current reality and what your goal is. This means that you will be better prepared to notice the people and resources that you have in your life (already or on their way) that will get you to where you want to go.
Thus, as you think about what you want, you begin attracting it into your life. I hope you'll go out and have fun with this idea until you get comfortable enough to try it on things that really matter to you. Focus on that great parking spot, a free lunch, or even a phone call from someone you haven't heard in awhile.
Your results may surprise you!
